The collection and processing of the information available to us is carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures of the security and confidentiality of the UNIX Academy, in strict respect for the applicable legislation in Portugal, namely the Personal Data Protection Act, Law No. 67/98, 26-10 ("LPD") and the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
UNIX Academy is responsible for the processing of your personal data and does so in its sole and own interest.
As a service provider, the UNIX Academy needs to collect and maintain the information regarding it, necessary for the exercise of its functions, provision of services, compliance with legal obligations, continuation of legitimate interests, as well as for the protection and defense of the UNIX Academy in case of litigation.

- Allow us to provide you with contracted services and compliance with contractually assumed obligations;
- Customer-authorized communications within marketing and advertising.
Thus, your personal data will be processed by UNIX Academy according to the following purposes:

(c) Prosecution of legitimate interests of the UNIX Academy (particularly security of people and goods and product research and development);

In addition to the purposes set out above, the personal data collected may be used by UNIX Academy or its authorized partners by their consent for the following purposes:

- It is the point of contact with the Customer or User for the clarification of all questions concerning the processing of the data collected;

- Provides information and advises the controller or subcontractor on their obligations under the privacy and data protection of the UNIX Academy.

Your Rights
In general terms of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) certain rights related to your personal data are granted to you:
- You have the right to request access, rectification or deletion of your personal data. You have the right to limit the processing of your personal data and in certain circumstances.
For the exercise of these rights you must contact us by email geral@unixacademy.pt informing us of your intention. - If we are processing personal data based on your consent for the purposes of marketing and advertising communication, it may be withdrawn at any time by email geral@unixacademy.pt, informing your intention of cancellation.
Your request for access will be dealt with as soon as possible. If we are unable to respond within 30 (30) days of receipt of the request, we will inform you what time we will need to respond to you.
If you do not rely on us, directly, access to your request, we will inform our partners of their intention and grounds.

Since no security measure is 100% effective and safe, we are committed to protecting the integrity and confidentiality of your personal data, so we are constantly reviewing and improving our security measures.
